Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis

The Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (AAP) is the copyright owner of the American Journal of Psychoanalysis. The AAP was founded in 1941 by the esteemed psychoanalyst, Karen Horney, MD, to contribute to the advancement of psychoanalysis both as a scientific discipline and as a service to the community.
